It’s another One Book Wonder this week, the way for Laura and me to squeeze in those books that fall through the cracks between podcast episodes, and keep you a bit more up-to-date with our current reads.
This week I’m reporting back on Ink, Blood, Sister Scribe by Emma Törzs, the fantasy book that Laura read back in December and has been promising to send me ever since, and which she mentioned again on the Weekend Review episode last week. As she and I are both alike in our aversion to actually making a trip to the post office I didn’t wait for the book to turn up but instead downloaded it on my kindle. This was back in January, so why am I only talking about it now? Listen in to find out.
I'm also bringing you a special guest spot from Patreon book clubber Q, who is in London for a few days. She recommends a favourite recent read, a favourite summer read and tells us about a book that gave her the best reading experience ever.
Thanks so much to all you subscribers for listening and sup…
